Q&A: Ramadan: Now what? The UN has suspended its operations in Gaza?

Question by Islam4life Free Palestine: Ramadan: Now what? The UN has suspended its operations in Gaza?
We have suspended our operations in Gaza until the Israeli authorities can guarantee our safety and security,” said Chris Gunness, spokesman for the United Nations relief agency Unwra.

‘Access denied’

The International Committee of the Red Cross accused Israel of failing in its international obligations after its staff were met with “shocking” scenes.
One medical team found 12 bodies in a shelled house, and alongside them four very young children, too weak to stand, waiting by their dead mothers, the ICRC said.

Aid workers had been denied access to the site for days, it added.

“This is a shocking incident,” Pierre Wettach, ICRC head for Israel and the Palestinian territories said in a statement.

“The Israeli military must have been aware of the situation but did not assist the wounded. Neither did they make it possible for us or the Palestinian Red Crescent to assist the wounded.”

Correspondents say the criticism is unusually strong, coming from an agency considered to be neutral.

Question by ggopri: Egyptians stoned Galloway and sent him to hell, togther with the “aid to poor gazans”?Egyptians stoned a humanitarian convoy at Rafiah that was led by anti-Israel British Member of Parliament George Galloway on Sunday. The incident occurred at El Arish, approximately 28 miles from the Rafiah border at Gaza. The Egyptian protesters also wrote dirty words and anti-Hamas slogans on the packs with humanitarian aid, and several people in the convoy were injured in the attack, according to convoy organizer Yvonne Ridley, quoted by French news agency AFP.The convoy included 110 vehicles carrying nearing $ 2 million worth of goods. Egyptian officials delayed the convoy because it was carrying non-medical supplies that officials said must pass through Israeli crossings. Denver Web Design . Ridley said that MP Galloway is negotiating with officials and that its non-medical aid might be forwarded to Gaza through the Egyptian Red Crescent agency. The convoy left Britain under police surveillance following MP Galloways attempt to include three terrorists in a convoy.A bit more-and I shall believe there are reasonable people even among Egyptians, lolBest answer:
